In 1978, Harry & Mary became members of the AQHA when they purchased their first papered mare Canadienne (Leo Bred). In the next few years they added a number of papered broodmares to their breeding stock. Two of the more prominent mares were Vansettea & Brandy Adair who were full sisters and daughters of Darcy's Otoe. In the first year the Harry & Mary owned Brandy, she gave birth to a son of Kims Pica Pride who would later become an outstanding roping & rodeo horse, that would help both Kym & Cindy qualify for the National High School Rode Finals in breakaway roping and goat tying. Kimbo more recently has made an appearance in the ABRA finals with Jessica, Harry & Mary's granddaughter, and numerous junior rodeos & ropings with Jessica and Justin, their grandson. These mares quickly became and integral part of the Foley ranch breeding program and have remained that way with many of the current mares going back to the original breeding stock. In 1983, Harry & Mary began their career in the PMU Business and with that came and enormous purchase of papered mares. This was the same year that they made a very important purchases that would become the backbone of their breeding program. Stormys Alibi, purchased as a two year old, quickly began his legacy of producing great performance horses on the Foley Ranch. In the last nineteen years Alibi has produced numerous great ranch, roping, reining & cutting horses. However, it is his contribution to the breeding stock of the Foley Ranch where he has left his greatest legacy. Many of the mares that are being bred on the Foley Ranch are daughters, granddaughters and even some great granddaughters of the Alibi. 1988, Harry & Mary purchased another cow bred, performance stallion, Zans Jack Parr, who has also played an influential role in their breeding program. Similar to Alibi, Zan has also produced numerous great ranch and performance horses, and has made a huge contribution to the bloodlines of many of the foley Ranch mares. The mares that were bred to Zan in 2002 represent his last foal crop for the Foley Ranch. The great foundation that these two stallions have created for the Foley Ranch is irreplaceable. In 2001, Harry & Mary purchased on of the top reining sires in Canada, Juan the Sailor. Juan has brought great excitement to the Foley Ranch and has truly invigorated the breeding program. the addition of other younger stallions, Sonoita Lena, Chickonita, Betchas Hes Smart, Otoe Chex and most recently Zan Diamond Cowboss will provide excitement for years to come. The strong foundation left by Alibi and Zan combined with the excitement of the new additions, leaves and undoubtedly bright future for the Foley Ranch.
