| Since 1978, Harry &
Mary Foley have been breeding AQHA horses. They started with a few well
bred mares who were LEO and OTOE bred. In 1983 they
purchased STORMYS ALIBI who was a son of PROFESSORS ALIBI
and a grandson of DOC BAR. This purchase would shape the breeding program
at Foley Ranch. ALIBI quickly became a proven sire of reining, roping,
barrel racing, cutting, reining and ranch horses (see proven performers page for a few of
these). His greatest legacy was the daughters he sired who would become great producers of
performance horses. In 2005 STORMYS ALIBI was laid to rest at Foley Ranch
after 22 years of breeding. In 1988, Harry & Mary purchased another stallion to breed to these daughters of ALIBI. The stallion was ZANS JACK PARR who was an AQHA point earner in both heading and heeling, and a son of legendary AQHA sire, ZAN PARR BAR. He also became a proven sire of both performers, but like ALIBI it was his daughters who really impacted the breeding program at Foley Ranch.
